About the Founder
Manish
Manish is a successful entrepreneur in the IT industry with over 15
years of experience in software development, finance and project
management. He has been instrumental in growing the firm from a
client-server development shop in 1997 to an Advanced IBM Business
Partner today, with a special focus on building Business Intelligence
Solutions. As Founder and CEO, he led a team of 20 people to win the
Houston 100 award in 2001, an award recognizing the top 100 fastest
growing companies in Greater Houston. Prior to founding Salient, he held
IT consulting engagements at Merrill Lynch, Alliance Capital and Merck &
Co. He is a Board Member of the University of Chicago Booth Alumni Club
of Houston, Board member of the
MBA Council of
Houston, and former President of the University of Chicago
Booth Alumni Club of Houston. Manish earned his Masters in Math and Bachelors in
Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India,
along with an M.B.A. with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth
School of Business, Chicago, IL.
